On the night of February 19th, I Thomas McGuigan attended the play "Bamboo Under Rubble" at St.Francis College. It was a play that was directed by Stacey Holman and written by my acting Professor, Magaly Christopher Colimon. The story of the reading is about a rich and wealthy black woman named Margaret who endures rough struggles while she perseveres to find love in her life. Throughout this play she meets many different people and begins to rediscover her past life along the way. Getting help is hard for Margaret but if she does not get the help she needs she will continue to live a depressed life. One of the main ideas this play expresses is that money does not buy your way to happiness.
